Future Leaders

The Future Leaders Program has been an invaluable experience for me as someone in the early stages of my career. Jo helped me to reframe my mindset away from tasks to people, prompting me to consider what traits make a good leader and how I can embody them.

A big takeaway for me surrounded the importance of curiosity. Good leadership isn't about having all the answers - it's about listening, asking the right questions, and following through with confidence to build trust and credibility. We also looked at practicing empathy and the importance of adapting my communication and management style to meet individual needs. This approach has greatly improved my ability to train and delegate, empowering others to thrive in their roles.
