The MAP is an emotional intelligence-based profile that highlights your current mentoring style, strengths, and development areas. It’s a catalyst for insight - helping you understand how you naturally show up in mentoring spaces and where you can grow to cultivate more effective, intentional relationships.

The MAP was created by Leadership Shapers in partnership with Six Seconds, a global leader in emotional intelligence. It blends mentoring expertise with EQ science to offer a unique, human-centred development tool.

How do I get my MAP?

After completing a 77-question self-assessment online, your MAP will be generated instantly, and either emailed directly to you, or ready to be downloaded.

How long does it take to complete the online assessment?

It takes around 7-10 minutes. Try to complete the assessment in one sitting, when you are free from distraction.

How much does the MAP cost?

Can I take the MAP more than once?

Yes - especially as your mentoring capability evolves. Many people choose to re-take the MAP at different stages of their development or before stepping into new mentoring roles. We usually recommend re-taking the MAP every 6-months.
